Our asparagus comes fresh every day from the asparagus farmer in Bauschheim. The asparagus are served with hollandaise sauce or the classic way with butter and triplets (small potatoes).

Castel Märzen

Märzen is brewed every year according to old traditions and craftsmanship. It is a copper-colored and malty beer with a strong taste. Brewed according to the purity laws of 1516.

The story of Märzen:
The brewing regulations of 1516 stipulated that due to the increased risk of fire when brewing beer in the summer, brewing was only allowed between Michaelmas (September 29th) and St. George (April 23rd). So that you didn't have to miss out on enjoying the beer, the beer was brewed to last by using a higher original wort and alcohol content, or with stronger hops. (Excerpt from Wikipedia)
Maibock-Beer tapping mit Live Music and Dance into May
Tuesday, 30. April 2024 from 7 p.m.
This year we would like to welcome you again to our traditional Maibock tapping with live music from the popular two-man band "Zwoa Spitzbuam".
The tapping is done rustically with a hammer and a big swing until it says “O zapft is”! There will be celebrations and dancing to great live music from yesterday and today.
Our chef takes care of your physical well-being and conjures up delicious pork, poultry or vegetarian delicacies.
